Is food included in the houseboat tariff?

Does the houseboat cruise all night?
No. Kerala regulations require houseboats to stop cruising and anchor by around 6 PM. The boat cruises from noon until evening and again briefly after breakfast.
Is there a day-cruise option without staying overnight?
Yes, day cruises run roughly 11 AM–5 PM with lunch. For a shorter, cheaper way to see the narrow canals, try a 3-hour shikara ride.
